Family, Labor and Social Services Minister Zehra Zümrüt Selçuk stated that 'vocational training courses' and 'on-the-job training programs' were organized within the scope of Active Labor Market Programs of the Turkish Employment Agency (İŞKUR), and announced that 423 thousand people benefited from these courses and programs in 2020. In his written statement, Minister Selçuk stated that 87 thousand people benefited from the vocational training courses organized in 2020, and 336 thousand people benefited from the on-the-job training programs, and noted that 52 percent of the participants in the courses and programs were women.
