Industry and Technology Minister Mustafa Varank made a presentation on the 2022 budget of his ministry and affiliated and related organizations at the Plan and Budget Commission of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey. Emphasizing that KOSGEB stands by SMEs with its inclusive support mechanisms, Minister Varank said, "We have transferred 1 billion 740 million liras to more than 61 thousand enterprises through KOSGEB since the beginning of the year." said.

Eighteen Thousand New Businesses

KOSGEB continues to stand by SMEs with its comprehensive support mechanisms. We have transferred 1 billion 740 million liras to more than 61 thousand enterprises through KOSGEB since the beginning of the year. This year, we provided online entrepreneurship trainings to up to 137 thousand citizens, enabling the establishment of 18 thousand new businesses. We provided more than 600 million TL support to these initiatives, most of which were founded by young women and women.

Support for 110 Projects for Critical Products

110 of the projects we supported in the TEKNOYATIRIM and Strategic Product Support Programs, which we designed for the localization of critical products, were successfully completed. We created a loan volume of 211 million TL with the SME Finance Support Program.

Digitalization in the Manufacturing Industry

This year, we decided to support projects with a size of 116 million TL with the theme of Digitalization in the Manufacturing Industry.

114 Million to SMEs Affected by Fire and Flood

In addition, we have never left our citizens alone in this difficult year when we struggled with flood and fire disasters. We provided 114 million TL of interest-free loan support to our SMEs and tradesmen who were affected by the disasters in Antalya, Artvin, Bartın, Düzce, Edirne, Giresun, Kastamonu, Istanbul, İzmir, Muğla, Rize, Sinop, Trabzon and Van.

Support for Fresh Vegetables and Fruits

We have commissioned the Cold Chain Financing Program to reduce the losses and losses incurred during the transportation of fresh fruits and vegetables. Thus, we provide support to tradesmen and logistics companies operating in cases in the purchase of cold storage and refrigerated cases.

New Supports on the Way

In addition to these, we will launch a new support program for our artisans, who perform professions that are on the verge of disappearing, by the end of the year.
