2022 Feasibility Support Program Applications Started
2022 Feasibility Support Program with a budget of 1 Million TL has been announced in order to take advantage of important opportunities for the sustainable development and competitiveness of the TRC2 (Diyarbakır-Şanlıurfa) Region, to prevent threats and risks to the investment environment, and to direct investment projects to improve the innovation and entrepreneurship capacity of the region.
Feasibility Support aims to support the feasibility studies of non-profit organizations for investment projects. Governorships, District Governorates, Investment Monitoring and Coordination Departments in Diyarbakır-Şanlıurfa, Local Administrations, Universities, Regional Directorates affiliated to Ministries, Provincial, District Directorates and Institutes, Other Public Institutions and Organizations, Professional Organizations as Public Institutions, Organized Industrial Zones, Industrial Sites, Technology Development Zones and Non-Governmental Organizations will be able to apply for projects.
Applications must be aimed at carrying out the feasibility studies that fall within the scope of the goals and priorities of the support program.
The priorities of the 2022 Feasibility Support Program are as follows:
The specific objectives of the Result-Oriented Program of Increasing Competitiveness in Strategic Manufacturing Sectors, which aims to increase employment and added value and thus accelerate economic growth, by focusing on strategic manufacturing industry sectors (Textile-apparel, leather and related products (shoe manufacturing), food and furniture) in the TRC2 Region. feasibility studies for realization.
Special Purpose 1: Development of production and common usage areas that enable productivity, innovation and added value increase in the textile-ready-to-wear, food and furniture sectors,
Special Purpose 2: Developing value chains in order to increase product diversity, exports and added value in these sectors,
Special Objective 3: Increasing the R&D, innovation, design, institutionalization and specialization capacities of companies,
Priority 2: Feasibility studies for achieving the specific objectives of the Children and Youth Result-Oriented Programme, which aims to contribute to the acceleration of economic and social development by strengthening human capital in the provinces of the region.
Special Purpose 1: Increasing children's abilities in the fields of creativity, entrepreneurship, sports, art, technology and culture, developing infrastructures and service models for this,
Special Objective 2: Establishing a qualified workforce infrastructure, primarily in the food, furniture, textile-apparel, shoe manufacturing and tourism sectors, by increasing the skills of young people in the fields of entrepreneurship and vocational training.
Priority 3: Feasibility studies to realize the specific objectives of the Mesopotamia Promotion and Branding Result-Oriented Program, which aims to accelerate regional development by branding, promotion and marketing of tourism on a regional scale, which is among the strategic sectors of our region, has rapid growth potential and can provide rapid employment increase.
Special Purpose 1: Carrying out global branding, promotion and marketing activities of the Mesopotamian tourism destination,
Special Purpose 2: Bringing natural, historical and cultural values into tourism by considering the balance of protection and use,
Special Objective 3: Development of various thematic tourism routes,
Special Goal 4: Institutionalization and increasing service quality in cultural and tourism sectors, which are strategic sectors.
Priority 4: In line with the TRC2 Regional Plan 2014-2023, it includes feasibility studies that are outside the SOPs but can be considered as urgent and critical Local Development Opportunities.
It is foreseen that the successful projects will receive a support of at least 20,000 TL and a maximum of 125,000 TL, and the implementation period will be at least 3 months and at most 12 months.
Although the deadline for the completion of applications through KAYS is 31 December 2022, applications will be evaluated periodically and applicants are advised not to wait for the deadline to submit their proposals.
