MASS OPENING IN NIGDE

Industry and Technology Minister Mustafa Varank stated that the carrier of a country's or a city's economy is organized industrial zones, "We provide all kinds of support to further develop our OIZs." said.

Minister Varank laid the foundation of Biska Tekstil in the Organized Industrial Zone in Niğde, where he came to make various contacts. At the groundbreaking ceremony, Varank took the word of the engineers about the textile factory starting production in the 9th month.

Participating in the opening of the Drinking Water Treatment Plant, Varank later opened the Municipality Bread Factory. The bread factory, which has been renovated in a modern way, has a production capacity of 5 thousand breads per hour in a hygienic environment on an area of ​​​​2,000 square meters. In addition, 50 women in need will be employed at the facility, and disabled citizens will be employed at the kiosks to be set up in different parts of the city. The bread factory will also produce gluten-free products for celiac patients.

NIGDE OIZ IS ONE OF THE IMPORTANT INDUSTRIAL AREAS

In his speech at the OSB meeting hall after the openings, Varank pointed out that Niğde OSB is one of the important industrial areas of Turkey and stated that the region with 141 parcels currently hosts 94 industrial facilities and provides employment for 4 thousand 160 people.

TOP LEAGUE IN TEXTILE

Explaining that with the investments made today, a new breath has been brought to Niğde OIZ, Varank said, “This investment of Biska Textile Factory will bring Niğde to a higher league in textile. Continuing its activities with its 2 factories in Gaziantep OSB, Biska Tekstil's investment in Niğde is worth 400 million Euros and the planned employment is approximately 2 thousand people. The Yarn Production Facility, which is planned to be built in three stages and will be built on an area of ​​150 thousand square meters, will have a daily production capacity of 120 tons. I sincerely congratulate the company officials for this exemplary investment. I would like them to complete the construction and preparation processes quickly and be quick to start production.” used the phrases.

Explaining the importance of production, Varank said, "Organized industrial zones are the carrier of the economy of a country or a city. The healthier the wheels of the production facilities in OIZs, the healthier the city will develop. With this vision, we make every effort to further develop our OIZs. On the one hand, we encourage our entrepreneurs, on the other hand, we provide our OIZs with the financing they need." said.

Emphasizing that they stand by every investor, entrepreneur and laborer who add value to this country, Varank stated that they never left them alone while planning these investments. Noting that the incentive certificate they have issued for Biska is the most concrete proof of this, Minister Varank said, "The company will benefit from our serious support, especially many tax advantages, with this document. Of course, the support we provide to our investors is not limited to these. We are also taking the necessary steps to strengthen the infrastructures of OIZs. As a matter of fact, we have brought a Water Treatment Plant to Niğde OIZ through our Ahiler Development Agency. With this facility that will meet the clean water needs of the OIZ, we will provide healthy water to our working brothers and sisters working here. Here we allocate our budget to investments and services." he said.

BREAD PRODUCTION FACILITY

Varank said, "Another service we brought to Niğde and that we opened today is the Bread Production Facility. With this facility that will provide employment for 50 women and 20 disabled citizens, we ensure that our citizens have access to quality food. I congratulate both the OIZ management and our Niğde Municipality on this occasion." said.

THE NUMBER OF FACTORIES IN NIGDE INCREASED TO 218

Pointing out that they always say investment, production, export and employment, Minister Varank said, "Today, we have brought 4 special projects to Niğde. But our investments in this beautiful city are not just these. See, between 2002 and 2022, we provided our businesses with loans of close to 200 million liras. We increased the number of factories in production in OIZs from 31 to 218. We transferred 12 million liras to Niğde Ömer Halisdemir University Technology Development Zone. We provided 62 million liras of support to our SMEs in Niğde within the framework of KOSGEB Support Programs. From public institutions of Ahiler Development Agency to universities "The support it has given to 174 projects has exceeded 82 million liras. Is that enough? Of course not. Noting that industrial production increased by 14.4% in 2021, Varank said, “Our exports broke a record by leaving 225 billion dollars behind. These stats are just the tip of the iceberg.
