Gaziantep is not a port city; Noting that however, it is necessary to connect it to ports quickly, Bilgin said that important works have been carried out in this sense as well. Underlining that they have world-class manpower in every field, our Minister Bilgin said, "We have Nobel prize winners of letters and scientists. We have manpower trained in every field from art to literature, from economy to engineering, from cancer research to other fields. "This is our main strength. Thanks to whom it broke, it broke it with human power, thanks to businessmen who produce, sell and export goods all over the world. Turkey has broken the circle that it is trying to squeeze into. We have to take it to a higher level," he said.

“As the Ministry of Labor and Social Security, we will do our part”

Sharing the knowledge that they have implemented a new employment model in Gaziantep, Bilgin said, "We will meet the economic needs of the worker recruited to a needed workplace for 3 months, and we will pay his wages. Train him wherever you need. After that, put the workers you have trained in the job you need in the production process and continue production. This is the basis of our model, it is a model created according to your demands. The state is here, as the Ministry of Labor, we will do our part," he said.

“Turkey Showed That It Is A Social State To Friend And Enemy”

Stating that Turkey is now a country with industrialists who know and apply the advanced industrial revolution and all the technology it has added to the production process, Bilgin continued his words as follows:

"Therefore, when we say, 'We are now a country that is a candidate to become one of the 10 largest economies in the world,' no one should have any doubt about it. The conjuncture we are in creates some problems. We all know that the pandemic process has adversely affected the world economies. "We watched the images of people who died in the hospital corridors and even in front of the hospitals on television. Turkey did not experience these. Turkey also made a great revolution in the field of health and showed both friends and foes that it is a social state where the health insurance of all its people is covered by the state."

“Historically, Our Increase in Minimum Wage is Very Important”

Reminding that they increased the minimum wage by more than 50 percent for the first time in the history of the Republic of Turkey, our Minister Bilgin said, "Afterwards, we transferred the inflation difference to public employees. Turkey fulfilled the requirements of being a social state in every field. There are discussions about the minimum wage again these days. I don't find it very meaningful. Because historically, the increase in the minimum wage is very important. This reveals the necessity of both the employer and the employee taking responsibility together in the production process. In other words, the employer has also automatically stratified other wage types besides the minimum wage. Those with higher wages are also at the minimum wage level. reorganized”.

Reminding that there are problems in inflation, production and supply chains in the world, Bilgin said, "Let's not forget that the majority of the economic problems Turkey is facing today are the reflections of negative events in the world and the costs brought by the pandemic."

Our Minister Bilgin stated that Turkey will continue to grow and said:

"In this whole process, Turkey has grown by 11 percent in 2021. It has achieved this with the production power of Turkey, with the power and energy of the production of our cities such as Gaziantep. No one should worry, Turkey will continue to grow. Yes, there is inflation, especially in the energy resources we import such as natural gas and oil. There are problems reflected, but Turkey has put forward the measures to normalize them, with its economic policies, with its new economic model. We will all see that the inflation will decrease gradually in the coming period. The way to overcome inflation and to eliminate the damage caused by the negative effects of the global economic crisis on Turkey is growth. employment, investment, maintaining this relationship in a healthy way.

“Gaziantep is a Producing City”

Gaziantep'in üretim yapan bir şehir olduğunu söyleyerek konuşmasına başlayan Vali Davut Gül, sözlerini şöyle sürdürdü: “İhracat ithalatı karşılama oranımız yüzde 136.

Metropolitan Mayor Fatma Şahin stated that Gaziantep is a special city and said, "We need to be very strong in this geography, this will happen with economic development and human development. For the knowledge economy, trained human capital is very important. For this, the right employment is very important. We are a country of workers, there are 400,000 workers," he said.

“Inspections Made at the Model Factory”

In other words, they give a new impetus to the industrial production order. It brings a new production style. Of course, every change has its problems. Today, the problems of change in Turkey are intense. We are living in a period where we are living under the influence of worldwide waves of post-pandemic economic crises, but thankfully we have the power to respond to them. Change is everywhere. Changes create problems everywhere. The important thing is to have the ability to solve problems. The second important point is to have the ability to manage change. "We Turks will both overcome the problems of change in the 21st century and show the whole world that we have the mind to manage change. I think the Model Factory is an example of this. Of course, we will listen, understand and solve our problems. There is no problem we cannot solve, I want you to know."
