IMPORTANT MEETING IN UAE

Industry and Technology Minister Mustafa Varank discussed potential cooperation in the field of industry and technology with Sultan Bin Ahmed Al Cabir, Minister of Industry and Advanced Technology of the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
Within the framework of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan's two-day visit to the UAE, Minister Varank met with his UAE counterpart, Al Cabir, to discuss cooperation between the two countries for industry, technology and investments.
During the meeting, in which the cooperation and investments that Turkey and the UAE can make in the fields of petrochemistry, manufacturing industry and advanced technologies were discussed, a new meeting was held in Turkey in order to develop new technologies for the future of the manufacturing industry among the member centers of the "World Economic Forum Fourth Industrial Revolution Centers" network. It was decided to sign the agreement.

Together with cooperation in the field of science and technology, joint research projects, thematic calls, technology transfer, sharing of good practices and exchange of researchers were discussed between TÜBİTAK and the UAE's relevant institution "Emirates Research and Development Council".

UAE DELEGATION WILL COME TO TURKEY
During the meeting, joint investment opportunities in fields such as advanced technology, artificial intelligence, R&D and technology transfer were discussed in addition to the industry.

In addition, it was agreed that a well-attended delegation headed by Al Cabir will visit Turkey in the near future to examine the investment environment on the spot.
