Minister Muş, who came to Trabzon to participate in various programs, made inspections at the Eastern Black Sea Customs and Foreign Trade Regional Directorate and Trabzon Port.

Minister Muş, who later attended the Trabzon Business and Economy World Meeting held at the Trabzon Chamber of Commerce and Industry, said that the coronavirus process affected both trade and financial structures, and the way people live and trade.

"Just as the pandemic was getting off the agenda, the world faced a new crisis." Muş said:

"The crisis between Russia and Ukraine. Its effects are seriously felt. Russia and Ukraine are two producer-exporting countries, especially in commodities. Especially in energy. With this crisis, the rise in commodity prices and the rise in energy prices continues. Therefore, this is due to the monetary change in the pandemic process all over the world. When evaluated together, the world is facing the highest inflation figures since 1970.

Referring to the foreign trade figures, Minister Muş emphasized that they want to exceed the target and said, "Trabzon's figure was 1.2 billion dollars last year. I hope it will exceed this. With the development of technology, electronic commerce is now a part of life. E-commerce will develop and other areas of life will also develop. "The important thing is to do it right, to have a legal arrangement that will allow the creation of an ecosystem in which enough actors can emerge in the market. Here, too, our deputies in the Grand National Assembly of Turkey have a great responsibility. Turkey needs such a legal arrangement." he said.

Noting that in the Çamburnu location of the Sürmene district, boats and small boat-style productions have been made for a long time, Muş said:

"Yacht and shipbuilding industry is the field we follow closely. Turkey ranks 2nd in the world in yacht production. We even have fellow countrymen who produce in various places. They really make us proud. It is impossible to find a place in free zones where yacht production is made. We are trying to increase the number of these yacht free zones." "We want to analyze the situation here. If we can develop the yacht industry here, the total added value is high. What is the advantage of the free zone? They focus on exports. We are considering opening in different regions of Turkey. If we can create a cluster in this region, yacht construction can provide much more serious added value."

Trabzon Governor İsmail Ustaoğlu, AK Party Trabzon Deputies Muhammet Balta, Adnan Günnar, Bahar Ayvazoğlu and Salih Cora, CHP Trabzon Deputy Ahmet Kaya, IYI Party Trabzon Deputy Hüseyin Örs, Trabzon Metropolitan Mayor Murat Zorluoğlu, AK Party Provincial Chairman Sezgin Mumcu, TTSO Chairman Suat Hacısalihoğlu, Trabzon Commodity Exchange Chairman Eyüp Ergan, other protocol members and business people attended.
