2022 Technical Assistance Program Applications Started

The aim of the technical support to be provided by the Agency is to provide training, program and project that will contribute to the Youth Employment theme, which is determined as the 2022 theme for the development agencies, with the works of the local actors in the region, which are important for regional development but faced with difficulties in the preparation and implementation stages due to the lack of institutional capacity. To contribute to the preparation of the project, to appoint temporary expert personnel, to provide consultancy, to lobby activities and to establish international relations.
Since 2018, the Ministry of Industry and Technology has developed the Result-Oriented Programming approach in order to ensure that the activities carried out by the Agencies are extended to the long term at the regional scale, carried out systematically and are output-oriented, and have started the necessary studies for its implementation by the Agencies. Within this framework, three Result Oriented Programs (SOPs) have been developed by our Agency. These are the Result-Oriented Program for Increasing Competitiveness in Strategic Manufacturing Sectors, the Children and Youth Result-Oriented Program, and the Mesopotamia Promotion and Branding Result-Oriented Program. Other issues that are outside the Result Oriented Programs but offer a potential for regional development are discussed under the title of Local Development Opportunities (YKF). In applications to be made within the scope of this technical support program, an application should be made to the program with the relevant reference code, taking into account the priorities indicated by the SOPs and YKF.

With the Result-Oriented Program for Increasing Competitiveness in Strategic Manufacturing Sectors, it is aimed to increase employment and added value by focusing on strategic manufacturing industry sectors in the TRC2 Region and to accelerate economic growth in this way.

With the Children and Youth Result-Oriented Program, it is aimed to accelerate economic and social development by strengthening human capital in the provinces of the Region.

With the Mesopotamia Promotion and Branding Result-Oriented Program, it is aimed to accelerate regional development by branding, promoting and marketing tourism on a regional scale, which is among the strategic sectors of our Region, has rapid growth potential and can also provide rapid employment increase.

With Local Development Opportunities, it is aimed to realize projects that are not included in SOPs but are of great importance in terms of regional development, that can activate the internal potential of the region and that can improve regional competitiveness.
