Action Plan Signed with Libya

Libya-Turkey Project Development Economic Forum started in Istanbul. On the first day of the three-day forum, an action plan was signed between KOSGEB and Libyan Entrepreneurship. KOSGEB President Hasan Basri Kurt and Libyan Entrepreneurship General Manager Abdalnassr Abouzkeh signed the action plan. KOSGEB President Kurt stated that Turkey has deep-rooted and special relations with friendly and brotherly Libya and noted that the common past goes back 500 years. Noting that as Turkey, they care about the welfare of the Libyan people, and therefore the Libyan SMEs and entrepreneurs, KOSGEB President Kurt stated that they will deepen the relations with the agreement made. Kurt gave information about KOSGEB activities to Libyan business people and bureaucrats at the KOSGEB stand located in the hotel where the forum was held. Before the meeting, KOSGEB President Kurt and Libyan Entrepreneurship General Manager Abouzkeh had a one-on-one meeting. With the Action Plan, a working group consisting of Turkish and Libyan officials will be formed by the end of 2022. The working group will organize information sharing and expert exchange activities. Within the scope of the action plan, experience sharing programs will be organized between the SMEs of the two countries.
