ŞUTSO'da Yönetim Kurulu Başkanı İ. Halil Peltek, Yönetim Kurulu Başkan Yardımcısı Mehmet Yetim, Meclis Üyesi Serhat Karadağ, Şanlıurfa Müteahhitler Derneği (ŞUMDER) Başkanı Mustafa Aşıklıoğlu, komite üyeleri ve sektör temsilcileri, sektörel talepler, sorunlar ve çözüm önerileri tartışıldı. .

In the meeting held with the participation of the sector representatives of the 10th Professional Committee (Construction Contracting, Excavation Works and Building Worker) of ŞUTSO operating within the body of our chamber, it was stated that the construction sector, which is the locomotive of the economy in our country, and especially the contractors working in the public sector, are one of the most important problems recently, both in terms of employment and size. It was stated that one of them had exorbitant increases in the prices of construction materials, therefore some projects could not be completed, and the contractors were on the verge of bankruptcy. Moreover; It was stated that the contractors in the Build-Sell sector could not start new projects due to price increases and price uncertainty, the ongoing projects could not be completed due to excessive price increases, and they were in court with some land and flat owners.

In this context, real price difference is applied to the contracting contractors until the end of the work, unconditional liquidation right is given to the companies that cannot carry out their business despite this, and the companies that will continue their business are given an extension, and the items in the construction sector are reduced to a reasonable level in order to prevent the victimization of both the society, the companies and the public. It was decided to notify TOBB, Ministry of Treasury and Finance, Ministry of Commerce and Ministry of Environment and Urbanization, with the approval of ŞUTSO Board of Directors, to be revised considering market conditions.

The construction sector, which is the locomotive of the country's economy, includes nearly 400 sub-sectors. This sector, which adds significant value to production and employment, has been significantly affected by the recent changes in exchange rates.
