SHUTSO 2022 MAY ASSEMBLY MEETING WAS HELD

The May Assembly Meeting of Şanlıurfa Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ŞUTSO) was held in ŞUTSO Assembly Meeting Hall.

At the Assembly Meeting that took place, the Chairman of the Board of Directors I.Halil Peltek, Members of Parliament Mehmet Aslan and Mehmet Paşa made a speech outside the agenda. After the speeches, the ordinary assembly meeting was moved on. April May April April 2022 Assembly Meeting, April 2022 Accounts Review Commission Decision, April 2022 layout discussion, April 2022 Activities agenda was held under the chairmanship of the Speaker of the Assembly Ahmet Altun.

The meeting started with the opening speech of the Speaker of the Assembly Ahmet Altun. Speaker of the Assembly Ahmet Altun said in his opening speech:"Dear President, Dear Members of the Assembly, our majority has been provided. Welcome to the May 2022 ordinary Assembly Meeting of the Sanliurfa Chamber of Commerce and Industry.  I salute you all with respect on behalf of myself and the council of parliament, and I open our May assembly meeting.

Dear Members of the Assembly, the Board of Directors of the Sanliurfa Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Members of the Assembly, Committee Members, staff and all registered members guide the economic development of our city as a large community. From the day we took office to this day, we have adopted the corporate culture and member satisfaction-oriented work. In this minval, we have become the voice of our sectors by working hard together with our Board of Directors, Assembly and Professional Committee Members and we have created solutions to their problems and needs. After that, we will continue our work with the same poem.

Dear Members of Parliament, As a result of recent economic developments, we are struggling with high national and global inflation figures. Unfortunately, high price increases affect SMEs as well as citizens. Yes, inflation is a common issue for all of us; as a country, we have no doubt that we will get rid of this inflation problem today with the same will and continue our path by getting stronger, just as we have come out of every crisis we are facing by getting stronger. We believe that we will overcome all our problems one by one within the framework of unity and togetherness. However, we have some expectations as business representatives from the economic management in order to accelerate the real sector and the economic cycle. In this context, it should continue to fight against high price increases, provide confidence about when and how prices will fall, and restore policies for exchange rate balance and price stability to support the free market functioning.

Dear Assembly Members, we have entered the 2022 tourism season. The tourism sector is one of the most important sectors for the economy of Sanliurfa, the capital of cultural tourism. Unfortunately, due to the pandemic and other problems experienced over the past two years, there has not been an expected tourist season. This caused serious damage to enterprises operating in the tourism sector. We hope that this season will go better than we expected and all the negativity experienced by our industry representatives will come to an end.

Dear Members of the Assembly, With these feelings and thoughts, I wish our Parliamentary Meeting to be auspicious; I salute you all once again with respect on behalf of myself and the council of the assembly." said.

After the opening speech of the Speaker of the Parliament Ahmet Altun, the agenda items were discussed and voted on. Following the voting, Secretary General Nihal Dörtkardeş delivered the presentation of the April 2022 Activities.
